The named role accountable for human risk and its key risk indicators. Ownership moves from the awareness lead to the CISO with IT, HR and Finance, and at the Preempt level to a board-level owner.
Example
A CISO names herself owner of human risk in the register and names the HR director as co-owner for the people data.
