Credentials flagged as compromised

A threat signal from an exposure feed or the identity provider: a credential the person currently uses matches a known compromised password.

The definition, in detail

Definition

The exposure is live, because the password still works.

Example

An engineer's current single sign-on password matches an entry in a stolen-password list, and the identity team forces a reset within the hour.

Provenance

How it is used

Programs count "Credentials flagged as compromised" per person from Breach & dark-web exposure and read it beside the other Identity and access signals; it feeds 0 cohorts, 1 sequence and 2 breach scenarios.

A "credentials flagged as compromised" record is evidence of what reaches the person (the threat side of the model). It says nothing on its own about what the person did.
